Signature Experiences

Rituals Made for Togetherness

Woven through every stay are the small ceremonies that make Txaleta itself — heritage on the table, wellness by the sea, and slow evenings under the stars. Tell us what your family loves and we'll arrange the rest.

Family Heritage Breakfast

Family Heritage Breakfast

Almusal sa Bahay

A slow morning ritual served in-room or al fresco — heirloom Filipino-Spanish plates like tsokolate-e, pan de sal con keso de bola, garlic adobo, and fresh Camiguin mango. Comfort food, storytelling, and shared moments.

Cliffside Yoga at Dawn

Cliffside Yoga at Dawn

Sunrise Saludo

Gentle, breath-centered yoga overlooking the sea at sunrise — with Mantigue Island on the horizon, visible right from Txaleta and framed by birdsong and the rhythm of Camiguin's early light. Designed for all levels — a calm, grounded way to begin the day.

Kids' Mindful Movement

Family Cooking Session

Family Cooking Session

Pamilya sa Palayok

An interactive kitchen experience at Txaleta's restaurant — fast becoming one of the best up-and-coming tables in Camiguin — where you cook paella filipina, rellenong bangus, or bibingka alongside a local chef and learn the stories behind each dish. Joyful bonding through food and shared tradition.

Digital Detox & Stargazing

Tahimik Nights

After an evening swim in Ardent Hot Springs, settle into a tech-free night of oil lamps, stars, and local myths — cacao or salabat in hand, slow music and gentle storytelling under the Camiguin sky. A soul-soothing break from the noise.

Out on the Island

Island Adventures

By banca, by ridgeline, by the slow turn of a coastal road — Camiguin gives up its best on its own terms. Choose how you go.

Out to the Sandbars

A private speedboat carries you past quiet coves to White Island's bare white spit and the reefs below, where the Bohol Sea turns clear over coral and the island's sheltered giant clams.

02 · Adventure

The Bohol Sea, Faster

Open throttle across open water, the volcano shrinking behind you. Jet skis and watersports for the mornings you would rather feel the sea than drift on it.

03 · Adventure

Up the Living Volcano

Guided ascents of active Hibok-Hibok climb through rainforest and spring-fed shade to a ridgeline where the whole island, and the sea around it, falls away below you.

One Road, All Day

04 · Adventure

One Road, All Day

Take the 64-kilometre ring road at your own pace: Katibawasan's falls, the cross marking the sunken cemetery, cold springs found between one town and the next.

Beyond the Resort

The Whole Island Is the Day Trip

One road, sixty-four kilometres, and more than enough to fill every morning of your stay. We'll help you plan the order.

01

White Island

A bare crescent of white sand off Mambajao, reached by banca at first light — no trees, no shade, just the sandbar, the reef and the volcano across the water.

02

Mantigue Island

A green islet twenty minutes out, ringed by a protected marine sanctuary that shelters resident sea turtles. Snorkel the drop-off where they glide over the coral, then lunch in the shade of the trees.

03

The Sunken Cemetery

A single white cross stands over the town the 1871 eruption pulled into the sea — best met by kayak as the sun goes down.

04

Katibawasan Falls

Seventy metres of water falling in one clean ribbon into a cold, fern-ringed pool at the foot of the highlands.

05

Cold Springs & Soda Pool

Sto. Niño's spring-fed pools run clear and cold; nearby, the Bura pool fizzes with natural soda water you can swim in.

06

Ardent Hot Spring

On the flank of Hibok-Hibok, volcano-warmed pools sit in the rainforest — the island's other temperature.

07

Giant Clam Sanctuary

Off Cantaan, rows of giant clams the size of armchairs rest in the shallows, close enough to snorkel above.

08

Lanzones

Camiguin grows the sweetest lanzones in the country. Come in October and the whole island turns out to celebrate them.

Getting Around

The Island, at Your Own Pace

Take Camiguin on your own terms — a scooter for the coast road, a vehicle for the family, or the open sea by jet ski. We arrange it all from the front desk and add it straight to your stay.
